Transforming Education through Reflexive Engagement with Values

A comparative study of teacher education in Norway and the UK, exploring how reflexive dialogue shapes values education and how programmes convey nationally agreed values to students.

What is NeVa?

The NeVa project is a collaborative initiative among teacher-education programs at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL), the Universities of Agder (UiA) and Stavanger (UiS), and the Universities of Loughborough, York, and Bedfordshire in the United Kingdom, together with Fridalen School in Bergen. It investigates and compares how core curriculum values are interpreted, taught, and enacted within Norwegian and UK teacher-education contexts. Learn more
